David Boulé

David Boulé has over thirty years of strategic marketing communications experience. Working creatively to integrate across multiple disciplines, including strategic planning, branding, marketing and public relations, David has developed and executed successful programs and campaigns for Fortune 100 companies, cultural institutions, and nonprofits. David’s thirteen years leading Ford’s marketing communications in California included full-scale media, branding and MarCom programs surrounding product launches, ride and drives, and corporate partnerships. David has worked with a diverse range of clients including McDonalds, Aston Martin, Heal the Bay, CO-OP Financial Services, Edelbrock, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and the NHRA Motorsports Museum.

David’s passion for automobiles, and belief in the community value of museums, led him to transition to the world of nonprofits, becoming the Director of External Affairs for the renowned Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Besides his extensive work in marketing communications, David is an historian and author. His book, The Orange and the Dream of California, was published in 2014 by Angel City Press. David has been profiled in multiple magazines, in newspapers, and on television and radio, and is a popular lecturer on a range of subjects. He has served on the Executive Committee of L.A. as Subject, a consortium of museums, libraries and archives, for the past three years.
